A native North Carolinian, Harper grew up in Wilmington and moved to Columbia, South Carolina as a teen. While attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, he worked his way from the bottom up at Starbucks and moved to Sacramento, California, to work in the corporate office in management and education. After a few years, he moved back to the Carolinas to Charleston, SC, and worked for Starbucks while continuing his studies at the College of Charleston. In 2007, he shifted gears and headed to Charlotte, earned his real estate license, and the rest is history! Harper had found his calling and spent 12 years with Allen Tate Company before joining Corcoran HM Properties in 2020. During that time, also worked for one year on a joint venture at The Metropolitan in midtown between ATC and Pappas Properties, a commercial and land development firm.
Harper is truly a people person and loves being a Broker/Realtor® and educating his clients about real estate as well as showing off the Queen City. As a full-time real estate agent, he is committed to creating a straightforward and rewarding experience for each client. In his role as the sales manager, Harper assists agents by providing advice to help navigate them through transactional situations. He enjoys being part of a team and wears both hats well!
Harper and his wife, Katherine, live in the SouthPark area with their two young children, Ellie, and Liam; and Lucy, their black Lab mix rescue dog. He enjoys cooking, architecture, design, chasing his kids, and making sure his wife is happy!
