Jim helped walk us through our first home buying experience. He was knowledgeable, good natured, and extremely patient with our endless list of questions and inquiries. He took the time to make sure we understood the process, and felt comfortable, while still ensuring everything got done on time. Couldn't have asked for a better realtor to ease us into home ownership; would HIGHLY recommend.

Hauslley is a wonderful and knowledgeable realtor and someone who went above and beyond when it came to helping us look for our home in this crazy market. Being somewhat new to the area he took the time to understand our needs and help guide to a home and area that we absolutely enjoy. If you want to BUY a house, go with JIM!!
Jim knows in and out of real estate business. He was able to get me a house in less than 4 months. Here are some of the things I liked the most about Jim. There are just some of many :)
- He was ready to show the house at any date.
- He used to do a thorough review of every house we liked. His estimates were spot on and always encouraged us not to go above our comfort zone (in terms of price)
- We were always worried about appraisal value for the house. He spoke very nicely to the sellers and made sure we win the bid with appraisal contingency. (People said this was not possible at all)
- He is always cool and calm. He knows how to talk to people and how to get the house you like.

During our loan process, there was a slight problem and we had ~3 days of delay in closing. He spoke to sellers agent/sellers/lender and made sure everything went so smoothly in the end.

In the whole process, all I had to do was send him Redfin links and send my docs to lender. Rest all of them was taken care by Jim.

I would strongly recommend Jim to everyone. Even if you are not a serious buyer, I would still recommend you to talk to Jim. After all, even I was not a serious buyer with the budget I had :D

We are so thankful we chose Jim as our real estate agent! Looking for a home remotely can be challenging but Jim made the process very smooth. He kept us up to date on new listings, visited homes, sent us videos and gathered all the information we needed. When helping us find a home in Los Gatos he was very knowegable about the area and went above and beyond to find us the perfect place. He stayed on top of all the paperwork and communication needed to close and our offer was accepted because of Jim's amazing work and due diligence. We couldn't have asked for a better agent.

Jim Matzen helped our family to find a perfect home. Our family had many different criterias when shopping for houses in the South Bay area. Not only has Jim lived and developed his career in the Bay area for so long that he knows every detail of goods and bads in the area, but also Jim was able to translate his knowledge to our family's needs throughout the whole process. Jim will not simply chase after a number of transactions. Instead Jim will help clients to find the perfect home which will fit in the clients needs and love for long. Ultimately, in the Bay area where it has been a seller's market for a long time, willingness to pay should be always determined by the buyer. Realtor's job is to guide home shoppers by feeding knowledgeable information and by providing a number of comparables that can help buyers to determine willingness to pay. With my experience, I cannot ask for a better realtor and I'd definitely work with Jim again on my next home purchase.

Jim is a wonderful person to work with. He made the tedious house purchase stress free. He was patient while it took a while for house hunting and never pressurized to overbid or to make an offer even if there was a slightest doubt. He is knowledgeable, was always approachable and very upfront and truthful with his property assessment. He looks for a good deal for his clients. His contacts made the mortgage process easier. We were able to close the deal in less than 3 weeks, all due to wonderful co-ordination among Jim and the mortgage consultant; They went out of their way to make it happen. Very glad to have purchased with his help.

Hauslley helped us when we first moved to California in 2017 and again when we moved last month. I really appreciate the fact that he never pushed us to go beyond what we could afford and reminded us to not stretch ourselves so that we still were able to do the things we love and that are important to us (travel, visit family overseas). We spent nearly a year this time with Hauslley looking for the perfect home and he spent many late evenings and weekends working around our schedule to show us homes. Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research to see who would be the best choice based on the investment they make into selling the property and how they promote their listings. The Hauselly Silva Real Estate Team stood out as the best the Bay Area has to offer, their social media presence was strong, and I could tell they put a lot of work into their listings.

We spoke with Hauslley and then met with him at our home. He spent hours answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. We were concerned that our house, which was located pretty far from the Bay Area and in a neighborhood with hundreds of similar homes would be tough to sell. Hauselly made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps like having professional photographs taken, and a lot more.

When we saw our listing we were blown away. His hard work and knowledge of what it takes to sell a home really paid off - our listing looked amazing and knocked out the competition.

I've recommended the Hauselly Silva Real Estate Team to everyone I know. He's a true professional and a genuinely nice guy. I realize it won't always be this easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor.
