Process was smooth and easy

Thanks to Hawk, the whole process of listing and selling our house went as smoothly as possible. Even though, it took months for us to actually list our place, Hawk stayed with us, helping and guiding us through the process. To me that was the most important part of choosing a realtor: someone committed to the project. In early 2024 we found ourselves needing to unexpectedly sell our parents home in Boulder. My sibling, nor I, live in Boulder anymore. We needed someone who could work quickly, maximize the value of the home, and pinch hit for us in town since we weren’t there. Hawk exceeded our expectations in every realm.

Over a very stressful and time-sensitive one month period of searching many neighborhoods in the Boulder area he was extremely patient and gracious as we bounced from one area to the next. We sold our house with Hawk's help. From the start, he was a comforting force. He walked through our house and helped us understand what it would take to show.

He then laid out a comprehensive plan for when we should put the house on the market, how much we should list it for and in general what we should expect (e.g., when photos would be taken). In general, I felt like he took care of most everything.

Hawk was so successful, we got offers before the house was on the market. He put forward our options and gave sound advice. He got us well over asking and then walked us through the whole selling process.

In conclusion, I could not have asked for a better experience.

Hawk Vanek made it possible for us to buy a property 1000 miles from our home, a property which we have yet to see in person.

For many years we have received listings by email from two other agents, but we had never found a home that met our needs. The agent who sent us an email about this listing was not willing to show it when our daughter called him. Our daughter and son-in-law, who have bought and sold property with Hawk’s help, called Hawk. He arranged a showing and met them at the property within the hour. In this age of COVID, with the help of FaceTime and a virtual 3D tour, we decided to make an offer.

Hawk gently guided us, without ever being pushy. He gave us options, and his opinion when asked, but we felt totally free to make our own decisions. Hawk gave excellent suggestions for lenders, and assured us that the title company representative would be very good. The whole team was remarkably competent and caring.

Hawk’s communication was timely and crystal clear. He was always available. Hawk attended the inspection and the walk-through with our daughter. He delivered the keys after closing.

Hawk helped us through the online documents that needed to be signed, and he got the answers we requested from the seller’s agent and the HOA. He arranged the sale of furniture and an extra refrigerator from the seller. He provided guidance on what to request after the inspection report was issued. He provided contact information for utilities and internet service.

We could not ask for more – but if we had, we have no doubt that Hawk would have done it.
