About Hertha

I left my corporate job in marketing and advertising at Young & Rubicam in Germany, one of the most highly respected firms in the world. As Managing Director at Young & Rubicam, I had to figure out what the objectives of our clients were and develop a strong strategy to achieve those goals.

After relocating to California in 2005 I trained as a business coach and real estate agent. I asked myself: How can I apply the successful strategies I used over the last 20 years to the real estate industry?

I thought about: What do sellers want? What are their fears? What are the risks? How can they be assured they’re not leaving money on the table? How can they find out whom trust? What plan do they need to sell their home? What would be a good strategy?

I decided to go on a journey to answer these questions just like I had to do as Managing Director for Young & Rubicam.

This is what I found out:
•Sellers and buyers need a strategy and a plan to help them reach their goals. You can’t just put pretty pictures in the MLS and glossy magazines, do open houses and hope to reach the outcome you want as a seller. You must have a strategy.

•Sellers want to feel at the end of the transaction that they got the most money for their home, with the least amount of stress, and that the transaction was a win-win for all. They want to feel that their agent is highly skilled in navigating the complicated waters of a real estate transaction.

•The same is true for buyers. They want to feel they got good value for the home they purchased and that the transaction goes as smoothly as possible.

Helping the buyer feel at ease during the purchase transaction with the best possible outcome is my mission when working with them.

The most successful business people in the world rely on skills, strategy and a plan…and so do I.
