Jackie grew up in the small town of Deering, Ohio, where she met her high school sweetheart and future husband, Mike Darby. Jackie then began a new phase of her life as a Navy wife with the opportunity to live in many different places, including Virginia, Hawaii, Italy and California. While living in California, Jackie and Mike welcomed their first son, Jordan, into their family. Soon thereafter their family was sent to the small town of St. Mary's, Georgia. Jackie completed her degree in Business Administration while they became familiar with the area and fell in love with Amelia Island. With the birth of their second son, Justin, and the purchase of their first home, their family was complete, and they had made Fernandina Beach their home.
In 1998 Jackie received her real estate license as she got her feet wet purchasing rental properties. A year later Jackie began working full time as a realtor, and she knew that this was her life's calling. With her outgoing personality and passion for helping others, she soon earned the status of a million-dollar producer. Since the beginning of her Real Estate career, she has put everything she has into every single customer and continues to do so twenty-three years later.
Jackie decided that it was time to bring on a team member that she could trust to learn the ropes of the business. Brittany Darby, Jackie's daughter-in-love, chose the real estate profession and was eager to learn from one of the best in the business. Brittany joined Jackie's team in May 2017. Jackie and Brittany are professional at all times, passionate about real estate,
and always put people first, which is likely why Jackie has been a Top Producing Agent since 2000.
