He explores New York City and the Hudson Valley's many offerings of arts, entertainment, and outdoor sports. When time allows, he travels internationally with his wife and young son in search of cultural, sporting, and gastronomic delights. He is an active member of several local community organizations in the Tuxedo Park, NY area.

Jake received his bachelor’s degree in English from Boston College and studied French language and history at Universite Stendhal Universite Grenoble Alpes, Grenoble, France.
