I highly recommend Jalayne for your home search in the Bay Area! She made us her priority and accompanied us on all of our searches, weekdays and weekends, which gave us access to view properties at times that fit our schedule. She provided a great balance of advising us on the pros and cons each property which helped us make an informed decision to get a fixer upper in a great neighborhood. Her suggestion to get a one year warranty has already paid for itself with unforeseen repairs, and she is a great resource of referrals for remodeling and repairs. We would definitely work with Jalayne again when it's time for us to buy or sell in the future!

My husband and I just bought our first home with Jalayne's help. She was everything we wanted and everything we didn't even know we needed.
Her expertise put us both at ease as we navigated this crazy market that is Bay Area real estate. We always felt that she had our best interest at heart and we were able to easily trust her. I really cannot say enough about the service she provided.
The house we were able to get happened solely because of her tenacity. We were ready to walk away from the house and she, with our permission, threw out one last hail mary offer (one that we thought would be a waste of her time) and it stuck! The offer was accepted!
She has an amazing network that we've been able to utilize and have been pleased with every recommendation.
Bottom line - Jalayne is amazing! For a knowledgeable, professional agent and fantastic human being, you cannot find better than Jalayne. We are more than happy to recommend her!

Jalayne is a very knowledgeable, personable, conscientious and professional real estate agent. She was able to effectively work with us on the timing and scheduling of prep work, listing and staging. After only one Open House, we had multiple (over bid) offers and the sale transaction was made without any issue whatsoever. Definitely the best realtor out here in California! Jalayne helped us to buy our first house in US. Coming from a different country we were not familiar with the process and she went above and beyond to help us. We really felt safe to move forward with our decision and she always stayed close to us, giving advices, showing us the pros and cons of everything.

We moved from Mountain View to Aptos which required several trips and she was always in time and also shared valuable tips of restaurants, neighborhoods, parks and beaches.

She also helped with service recommendations such as cleaning and painting.

I highly recommend working with Jalayne Forrester. Jalayne was recommended to me by my financial planner. I was impressed with her from the start—very experienced, responsive and congenial. And she was the third realtor I had interviewed, but the only one that listened carefully to my needs and offered specific, practical ideas on how to find the historic house I wanted with intact details. Jalayne was a lot of fun to tour homes with, even with the Covid-19 precautions we needed to take. She read me very quickly, and only showed me homes that met my criteria or were important to view as comparables. Within a few weeks, I had found my house...but they were expecting six offers! Now, the person who recommended Jalayne had told me that she would really shine in the negotiation phase. She wasn't kidding. With Jalayne's experience and negotiation skills, she was able to see what was most important to the seller, and got me the house, without a protracted bidding war. If it wasn't for Jalayne, I wouldn't be sitting here, now, typing this review. I'm deeply indebted to her for getting me through this process successfully.

Jalayne is a very knowledgable real estate consultant and has a strong client focus. We met her at an open house and she gave us the comfort of trust within the first few interactions with her. We weren't in market when we first met her and we were really impressed with her patience in spending time with us to understand our needs coupled with strong perseverance in keeping us posted with the latest in the market. Jalayne is a fantastic realtor who could guided us newbies through the entire process from start to finish. I can recall our first meeting to chat about our initial requirements. Jalayne quickly understood what we were looking for and translated this information into some automated search results. She sacrificed her time to match our schedule on weekday nights and weekends to look for homes together. Sometimes she even offered to pick us up from our office when we did not have a vehicle available.

After three months and three separate offers, we finally entered into contract on a new home. Jalayne took on a lot! During the closing process, her wealth of knowledge shined and her guidance eliminated much of the typical closing headaches. She even gave recommendations for other key partners including a general contractor, lenders, insurance agents, etc.

Jalayne is a wonderful realtor but more importantly a wonderful person. I'm happy to recommend her services to anyone in the area looking for a new home. We would not be in our new home without her help.
