About Jessica
Jessica works on the Jessica Pino Group with Phillip Mishoe.
Born in Northeast Ohio to Italian immigrants, she started working at a young age in a family-owned restaurant. As she was answered the phone, took orders, and worked the register at age 11, she learned very early that hard work pays off. She was taught that dedication to providing excellent customer service is not only how customers are kept but how long term relationships are built. Her interest in real estate started during those formative years as well as her parents invested in many residential and commercial properties over the years. In doing so, they created the foundation for what would be not only Jessica's livelihood but also her passion.
Jessica earned a Master of Arts in Italian Studies from The Ohio State University, from which she was able to draw upon during her years of travel and living abroad and working in International Education. Jessica moved to Austin in 2009 and immediately fell in love with the city and all it had to offer. Shortly after arriving in Austin, she wasted no time in becoming an active and contributing member: her personal philosophy is to contribute and give back to the city in which you live. As such, she started volunteering with as many groups as she had time for. Meals on Wheels, Mother's Milk Bank of Austin, the Junior League of Austin, and the Young Women's Alliance, to name a few. And of course, there is her experience with Explore Austin, where she learned how to rock climb and mountaineer while mentoring a special group of ladies from 6th grade through their senior year of High School. She also volunteered for 3 years at The Austinot as a local writer, where she covered topics such as hiking, new restaurants, and all things Austin. These experiences have given her a deep and invaluable knowledge of the city, which she has called home for over 10 years now.
And then there's the time Jessica appeared on HGTV's House Hunters... twice! Spoiler alert, she bought the fixer-upper. With the help of a couple of local contractors, they renovated the house. In the evenings, after working a full-time job, she would go home and pick up where others left off and worked well into the night. After completion of her house, she met her super supportive and adventurous husband Phillip, a native Austinite and local contractor (of course). The two of them combined their knowledge, added a few more touches to the house, and now used it as an investment property.
Jessica enjoys helping her clients find properties that best fit their lifestyle and investment goals. She believes in building life-long relationships and being a real estate resource to her clients for life. Whether you're buying, selling, or investing, or perhaps moving from out of state, or simply looking for some remodeling advice, she's got you covered.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys cooking, hiking, listening to live music, and spending time with her husband and son by the pool.
