Jodi Kevern

Jodi is an Arizona native and was born and raised in the Southeast Valley. She has witnessed extensive growth and so many changes in the whole Phoenix area. Her favorite things about Arizona are the vibrant turquoise blue skies, the sunsets, and the unique smell of the seldom rainy days. She is married and the mom of two. Most of her family and friends live in the same area so she feels lucky that she gets to see them all the time. Jodi loves to travel and will jump at the chance to take a girl’s trip or go on an adventure with her family.

Jodi received a degree in finance from ASU and an Executive MBA from Binghamton University. Her work experience includes handling accounting for over $90 million in inventory at a Fortune 500 company and being the Controller and Human Resource Officer of a local manufacturing company. She left the corporate world in 2006 and became a Realtor, working with her childhood best friend, Reveille. In 2011, their partnership became official when Jodi and Reveille decided to be broker/owners and opened Arizona Focus Realty.

She enjoys working with people, whether they be first time home buyers, seasoned sellers, or investors. She has extensive knowledge of the vacation rental industry and has managed short and mid-term rentals. She often works with foreign buyers and sellers and has traveled to Canada to present home buying seminars and is practiced with the rules of FIRPTA (Foreign Investment in Real Property Tax Act) that apply to foreign transactions. She strives to continue to learn best practices and has obtained the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS) designations, as well as the Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE) certification. Jodi loves being a Realtor because the housing industry is dynamic and it makes every transaction is unique.
