John Poston

Since 1979, John Poston has been actively involved in the real estate industry in Charleston, SC. As President and Owner of John Poston & Co., Inc., he works directly with our agents, brokers, managers and staff to provide professional real estate services including residential, commercial and land brokerage, as well as homeowner association and regime management.

Prior to opening Poston & Co. in 1988, John was Vice President of Residential Sales & Development at Max L. Hill Company, Inc. managing the residential real estate division at its five offices. He also served as Director of Sales at Daniel Island Real Estate from 1994 to 2001, where he managed the new home sales team and the builder program on Daniel Island.

John is an active member of the Charleston Trident Association of REALTORS, South Carolina Association of REALTORS, National Association of REALTORS, the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers, and Community Associations Institute.

John Poston is a Wofford College alumni and earned his MBA from the University of South Carolina in 1985. He and his wife, Kaycee, have a daughter, Elly, and son, Jay.
