About Jonathan

Jonathan Taksa serves as Vice President of Investment Sales at RE/MAX Commercial & Investment Realty in Los Angeles. His strong adhesion to company standards and business plans, coupled with his client dedication and honesty, has led to an extremely successful career as one of the top apartment and land value brokers in Los Angeles County each year.

Jonathan entered the real estate sales industry in 1999. Prior to real estate, he worked with top entertainment executives at Sony Pictures Entertainment where he gained sound and comprehensive marketing skills. In 2002, he joined an international real estate firm located in West Los Angeles. Once there, he became the #1 member of a sales team that became not only the top apartment team in the company but also in L.A. County.

Since joining RE/MAX in 2005, he has set and exceeded performance standards within the company and in the commercial real estate industry as a whole. As such, Jonathan’s sales have significantly increased each year. His average listing closes in less than 3 months and nearly 99% of the list price.

In 2009, Jonathan was the #2 ranked multi-family advisor in the company. In 2010, Jonathan was the #2 ranked multi-family advisor in the company and ranked #9 internationally amongst all RE/MAX affiliated commercial sales agents. In 2011, Jonathan closed 18 transactions and ranked top 3 in the entire RE/MAX organization. He has also received top company awards including: The Platinum Club, the 100% Club, the Diamond Club, and the RE/MAX Hall of Fame.

In 2012, Jonathan closed 20 transactions, and he ranked in the top 10 internationally out of all agents in RE/MAX. 2013 was a record setting year for Jonathan. He closed 20 transactions and received REMAX’s top honor, the prestigious Diamond Award. He finished 2013 in the top 3 of commercial sales agents nationally and ranked 5th internationally. In 2014, Jonathan closed a record 42 transactions on the Westside of Los Angeles (more than any broker in the area), earning himself the top commercial agent internationally out of 5,000+ commercial agents. He continues to have a formidable presence in Los Angeles as one of the top agents on the Westside.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys being outside, traveling, soccer and tennis. He currently resides in the Hollywood Hills with his wife, Cassidy.

Jonathan earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics with a minor in accounting from UCLA.
