Josh Krsnak

As President and CEO, Josh Krsnak oversees all facets of the company. Specifically, he is intimately involved with the company’s acquisitions, capital raises, and investor and lender relations. Josh joined Hempel Companies as employee #1 and ultimately bought the firm from its founder, Jon Hempel.

During his tenure, he has overseen the purchase and development of more than $2 billion in commercial real estate. In 2020, Josh was named to the Minnesota 500 list, which recognizes the most powerful business leaders in Minnesota. He was also recognized as a "Power Broker" by the Milwaukee Business Journal in 2020, 2021, and 2023. In 2016, Josh was named one of the recipients of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” award. Josh was also recently named a Twin Cities Business Top 100 People to Know in 2024.
