Born and raised in Albemarle County, Josh possesses a profound understanding of the area, specializing in residential homes, first-time home buyers, investment properties, land, and farms. His appreciation for the bucolic landscapes and settings of this beautiful region began in his early years, growing up in rural North Garden. Following his education in local public schools, he had the privilege of attending and graduating from the University of Virginia. Despite expanding his worldview through travels to 22 countries across five continents, he has never discovered a place as special as Virginia to call home.

Josh brings a wealth of knowledge and life experiences to the field of real estate. His reputation for an easy demeanor, hard work, multitasking ability, maintaining a level head, and anticipating clients' needs stems from his work in several prominent local restaurants. Collaborative problem-solving, continuous improvement, finding mutually beneficial results, and effective communication are skills honed during his two-decade career as a facilitator for team building, ropes courses, and corporate leadership development programs. Expertise in property management, discerning when to handle a repair or improvement personally versus calling in professionals, and the process of transforming a house into a home result from owning properties and rentals in various parts of Albemarle County. Patience, organizational skills, flexibility, and empathy are qualities acquired through raising three children.

When not engaged in real estate, Josh can be found enjoying the year-round outdoor activities Virginia offers. During and after his time at UVA, he worked as an instructor and guide, teaching people how to rock climb, mountain bike, and kayak whitewater rivers in Virginia. Josh also finds joy in gardening, home improvements, cooking, and indulging in the lively arts, music, and culture offered by his hometown.
