Karen Lower

Karen Lower is a real estate agent with Compass who is honored to be named the 2020 Real Estate All-Star by Los Angeles Magazine. 2020 also marks Karen’s twentieth year working in real estate! Setting numerous price points and garnering notable accolades for her listings in CurbedLA, Los Angeles Times, Variety, and Hollywood Reporter, she takes every listing with a hands-on approach; start to finish, from signing the listing agreement to closing the sale.

Karen understands and appreciates the challenges people face when selling their homes and foster a collaborative environment while advising how to make the best decisions along the way. Earning her license in 2001 and quickly earning Top Producer status, a testament to her entrepreneurial nature, and desire to achieve a high level of skill and excellence; a carry-over from her training as a classical pianist from an early age through earning a bachelor and master’s degree at the famed Juilliard School in New York City.

Karen started her real estate career as an investor flipping homes in the '90s. She completed six projects in Los Feliz and four in Silver Lake, and helped hundreds of people buy, sell, and invest along the way. Los Feliz, Silver Lake, and the Hollywood Hills is her area of expertise, having sold almost 400 homes in these areas and the surrounding city of Los Angeles. Her understanding of Eastside micro-neighborhoods and the Buyers who seek to make their home here brings a high level of skill in market preparation, valuation, and negotiation.
