We loved working with Kate. She was right there with us the entire journey, even when we decided to push our search beyond the LA county lines and check out Thousand Oaks. She had incredibly practical advice (especially around crafting our offer, finding a lender and the right questions to ask to ensure we could get the deal done, and an inspection process that was full of surprises). She was such a strong advocate for us when it came to getting exactly what we wanted and needed. And it's probably worth mentioning we got and closed on the first house we put an offer on, which was also the first house we saw (granted, Kate still saw us through 8 other properties during the process and kept our expectations in the right place). I am pretty sure that NEVER happens in home shopping in LA.

In Kate, We Trust. And it got us keys to our new house within 8 weeks of kicking off our search. Again, SO RARE in SoCal!! Thank you for your guidance and just being a killer on our behalf!

We just moved back to Los Angeles several months ago from NorCal. We had been looking for a house even before we sold our place up North, hoping we could transition immediately into our LA home. We didn't find anything right away so Kate shifted into finding us a lease. She was extremely helpful. And we continued looking to buy. We kept getting outbid after putting in several offers. Then we found the home we just purchased. Not only was Kate completely competent throughout the entire process, she was available. Her personal attention matched her attention to detail. I have heard of realtors who give their clients homemade pies. I thought that was sweet. Our old realtor gave us a nice bottle of wine. I appreciated the gesture. Kate (are you ready for this?) gave us a gorgeous gift basket with several useful (and generous) gift cards, some Heyler swag, a bottle of champagne and more! She even included a gift for our daughter. I mean, go ahead- I'll give you a second to pick your jaw up from the floor. She said this was one of her favorite parts of her job.
Kate didn't miss a beat. I cannot say enough. I would recommend her to ANYONE looking to buy or sell a house.

Kate was the best! From our initial phone call through getting our keys to our first home, Kate went above and beyond as our real estate agent. She is always calm, confident and helped guide our decision-making process to finding the perfect home for us, especially while navigating the changes of Covid! We had a couple of unusual situations pop up during our bidding process and she helped us clearly articulate our terms in our offers and made sure we were always protected as buyers. We can’t imagine what the house buying process would have been like without her! She truly became someone we felt we could trust and lean on for guidance. Thank you, Kate!! My husband and I were moving from Colorado to Los Angeles for work and had to find and sign an apartment rental before we got there. We were connected with Kate and immediately knew we were in good hands. Remotely, Kate happily shared listings and her thorough knowledge of LA to make sure we were well informed even without setting foot in the city. When a specific apartment caught our eye online, Kate visited the location on our behalf and Facetimed us to give a virtual tour. We found our new home and it wouldn't have been possible without Kate. She is extremely knowledgable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.

Kate is AMAZING and was SUCH a great asset to us during our home search and home buying process. She's kind and sweet, but also very fun and incredibly informed. She also is an honest and transparent advisor, from what we could expect from the process, what is reasonable to expect at various price ranges, and when to buy vs. wait. It hit me that we had found someone who was really in our corner when she advised us to wait to get a feel for the city's neighborhoods rather than jump into a home purchase after a cross-country move! Talk about putting clients' best interests first!

Throughout the process, Kate really went the extra mile. She sat with us to help us work through what our wants were as distinct from our needs and accommodated our "shopping style." Whenever we flagged a home we liked, she went to see it asap and gave us honest feedback. She sat on the phone with our mortgage broker for *hours* to make our dream house work. And once we got it, she made sure it felt like home that first night! We arrived to a mantle with some decorations and warm wishes. Because she knew I was looking forward to gardening, she also brought me gardening tools and the plants I wanted. It was the absolute sweetest thing and it made the empty space feel like home immediately.

She's truly a gem!

i had been looking for a new home for a few years, and it wasn't until i started working with Kate Kennedy that i found my new place, which is a dream come true, and an even better place than i could have hoped for. Kate found me options within my budget and parameters, but most importantly -- she stayed on top of communication with the other party involved, held everyone accountable for what they had said, and made many efforts above and beyond expectations to make sure i had every opportunity possible to make the purchase i was hoping to make. let's put it this way -- there were 12 other offers on the table, and i was fortunate enough to be the one whose offer was accepted and chosen.
