Katie Slater

Katie grew up in Correctionville, Iowa just east of Sioux City. When she was younger, her family vacationed at Okoboji with friends and in 1987 my parents bought a cabin on the lake with 50' of East Okoboji Lakeshore for under $50,000. WOW, how land prices have changed in 30 years! Ever since then, she has loved Okoboji and moved here full time in 1996 after graduating from Iowa State University. She owned 2 daycare centers and taught preschool in the lakes area from 1997 until 2009.

Katie have been a licensed realtor in the Iowa Great Lakes area since March 2008 and started my own brokerage NextHome At The Lakes in March 2016. She opened my second office in January 2018 in Sioux City, Iowa and am excited to be able to serve people in my old stomping ground! She is licensed in 4 states, Iowa, Minnesota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
