She moved to the Bay Area from Sheffield, England in 1981 to be a Nanny in Menlo Park. Shortly after that she opened her own restaurant in Palo Alto which was an instant success & continued to be so for many years.
She sold that to be a full time mum to my two boys whilst they were young, but also did property management during this period.
She became a Realtor in 2002 and she really love this profession. Her aim is not quantity sales, but quality sales. She spends a lot of time with buyers, making sure they are really buying the home of their dreams. Her qualities lie in her honesty, integrity ability to negotiate, knowledge of the area and working through a smooth transaction with you in mind during the entire process. She enjoys helping homeowners to prepare their homes to sell. She is very prepared to put some elbow grease into the prep as well as pull from my list of terrific stagers, painters, gardeners contractors, handymen etc.
She worked at Cashin Company Realtors for 9 years until they were bought out and have since been with Keller Williams because of their great ethics and caring attitude to helping anyone, anywhere that needs it. Since 2018 She has been with eXp Realty because it has no physical office, and she can work from home avoiding hours spent in traffic. Her hobbies are racquetball, pickleball, basketball, welding art, gardening. She teaches aerobics to Teen Challenge ladies (who are drug addicts trying to turn their lives around) she is the sports director for an annual camp for abused and neglected boys and girls in Santa Clara. She volunteers at "Red Day" (we go into elderly or disabled person's homes to do jobs that they are unable to do) and at local homeless shelter. She recently took in a homeless young man who lived with us for 5 months till he was able to get himself on his feet with 2 jobs and a car.
