Michael Hern helped me sell my house in Lees Summit, MO. I relocated to Rochester, NY in 2009 but was not able to sell my home through two agents (after 7 months in the market) when I left Lees Summit. I sent an e-mail to many real estate agents in Lees Summit in June 2012 (after 2 two years off the market) asking if he/she would be able to help me sell my home. Michael responded promptly. We did all paper work by e-mail. He advised me to do some necessary renovations before putting the house in the market and I did. The house was put in the market around mid-July and was sold in about 3 months. He is a real professional with in depth knowledge in real estate market and most of all he is very trustworthy. Extremely responsive. Goes above and beyond in trying to locate properties and send potential listings. I am a small investor with fairly selective criteria. Michael sends me listings a few times per week whenever a property meets my criteria. He is also very responsive in showing me properties when I am interested. I have purchased 6 homes with Michael and I recommend him to all of my friends.

I don't normally hand out all perfect scores for reviews like this, but James truly earned 5 stars in every area. He did an extraordinary job for us. As first time home buyers, he was a great resource in many different areas. He was also patient and willing to explain every nuance to us. In the end, he helped find us a great home and negotiated a price that we believe was very, very reasonable. He did not stop until he got a price that worked for us and we are very grateful for that. I had contacted Hern Group in 2011 to get a feeling for how much my home might sell for & any updating needed. Michael came to my home & gave me that information. A year later I was ready to market my home & called him again. He immediately arranged to have stagers come in at his own expense & get the house ready to market. He was able to put me in touch with others who also took care of other things that needed doing. I was never more than a phone call away from hearing his voice & that voice always said things that moved us closer to a sale. When needs arose as a result of the inspection Michael was right there to arrange the necessary repairmen who completed the repairs quickly & competently. Jamie was also ready to help me at any time & the whole office atmosphere was one of kindness & willingness to always help. I will give out the Hern Group name to all who even mention that they are considering placing their homes on the market. I could not have asked for a more professional & wonderful group of people to accomplish my goal.

We found a home we wanted to see; called Paula Voss who came to the home immediately, showed us not only one but two homes giving us an opportunity for comparison. Paula called immediately to put in a back up bid and fortunately for us, there was a problem and the home was no longer sold so we were able to place a bid. Paula helped greatly with the negotiations and within 24 hours all was taken care of and with 48 hours settlement took place. Since we would need insurance, Paula gave us the name of an insurance agent whom we contacted and the home was covered by homeowners insurance on the day of settlement. We also wanted the downstairs finished and Paula contacted two contractors who met with us and gave us bids on the work to be completed. Paula has kept and continues to keep in contact with us to be sure that all is going well and being taken care of.
