Michal possesses extensive work experience having held a variety of positions in real estate industry. Commencing 2018, he opened his own real estate brokerage and advisory firm Biscayne Real Estate providing services to commercial and residential clients.
Prior to that, Michal worked for a real estate multifamily investor specializing in acquisitions of B and C class product for value-add investment strategy. As Vice President of Investments he oversaw Florida acquisitions and helped analyze prospective deals by working closely with underwriters to derive at appropriate assumptions relating to future financial performance of individual properties.
Over a decade of previous work experience involved work for a luxury condominium developer active in Chicago and South Florida markets.
His architectural academic background and extensive development, analytical, and managerial work experience further provided him with a solid foundation to interpret building plans, surveys, construction cost estimates, and ability to effectively negotiate with and engage engineers, architects, surveyors, and other professionals. Michal has become very proficient at Microsoft Excel developing various multi family rental and condominium models. He relocated to the United States from the Czech Republic in 1996 after successfully starting up his own business.
Michal attended School of Architecture in Brno in the Czech Republic majoring in civil engineering and later attending Harold Washington and Truman Colleges in Chicago. He currently holds a Florida Real Estate Broker license.
