She is an Idaho native who began her career in real estate at an early age, working as an executive assistant to a local Realtor. A short time later, she moved to the sunny beaches of San Diego where she was quickly promoted to serve as Chief Operating Officer for Excel Properties, a real estate company specializing in selling REO properties.
