Nate helped me both buy and sell a house. This involved also helping me see some houses virtually during the pandemic. He always showed numbers / data about houses, including how trends changed over time, and he had a good sense of how markets would change in the future. He was able to meet with me to set things up, even though my schedule was difficult at the time. He set a time also to talk to me about my reservations about a house, and was considerate as I made a decision. Emily Merrell, who worked for Nate, was also great - very informative about the house, the pluses and minuses, and also took time to discuss the pros and cons of renting versus buying. Also helped me find an attorney, etc.

After Nate’s help with buying, when I went to sell I had no hesitation about calling him. He helped me find a date to sell the house, which I think was important because in the particular place I was selling, timing mattered a lot. He showed me all the comps. He and his team then took care of everything, from cleaning to photographing (really great photos even with working around a moving pod).They also accommodated rescheduling the photos when my move date changed. Posting and showing also went well even though I had moved. He also took care of landscaping and fixed a circuit breaker, coordinating with the buyer. Overall was a great experience, and got a return that made it so that the predictions he and his team had made about buying being better than renting ended up being true. I could not have done it without Nate and his team!

We moved my father to an independent living apartment. Susan and Nate were really an excellent team to make this transition for my Dad as easy as possible. They were there for every step of the process and were kind and empathetic to what we were going through. I would highly recommend this team if anyone is going through a life change and assisting parents in this type of move.

Six months later, we needed Susan's help in purchasing a home for our daughter. We went through a seller by owner with Susan's help, we sped the sale along and outbid a couple of private offers. We could not have done it in the highly competitve market without Susan's expertise.

We started looking for a home in February of this year and we're referred to Nathan and his team through someone who had purchased from them recently.
We started touring some properties after picking out listings that caught our attention and were paired with our agent Eddy who ended up showing us over 35 homes before we got one. We didn't know anything about real estate or the process and this was our first home, Eddy walked us though and taught us so much about the steps to buying a home, and things to watch out for when looking at properties to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We had some bad luck with a contract that fell through but our agent was patient and worked really hard to get us a house that we both loved in the end. Through Nathan and his team we got amazing advice, service and referrals to all the professionals you might need when purchasing a home. I give them my highest recommendation if you are looking for a home in Rochester, you definitely want to reach out to them. Where to begin with accolades for the Nate Wenzel Team? Perhaps a good place is to admit up front that I almost succumbed to the high pressure sales tactics of a different real estate agent. Thank goodness I didn't!

Susan Hughes, Nate Wenzel, and of course supporting team members Emily and Holly, have been an absolute joy to work with. Susan and Nate were stellar in fairly evaluating the market and my home and guiding me through the process. For them it was not about just getting a listing and making a quick sale. They did their homework, put together an outstanding marketing campaign and found the right buyer - all within about two weeks. They were always honest, prompt, supportive, responsive and kind. I was kept in the loop throughout the process - receiving updates from the various team members virtually on a daily basis! If I had questions, I never had to ask twice as response was immediate. Even after the sale was finalized and all the way to closing, Nate and Susan stayed in touch. Impressive!

So the end to my real estate saga is this: I made the right decision in choosing the Nate Wenzel team to sell my home!
