Dear Owen, I wanted to thank you again for all your help in finding and purchasing my home. Like most first-time buyers, I came with a lot of questions, issues and concerns. Your patience and understanding in answering them all was a huge relief. And throughout the wide range of options we looked at, you always understood my unique situation perfectly. To say you went above and beyond the call of duty would definitely be an understatement. The extra involvement you took in my financing was a major help to me, turning a lot of confusion and uncertainty into a much clearer picture that I felt confident and comfortable with. Most importantly, throughout this whole process I always felt I could count on you to give me good advice and solid guidance based on my own particular situation, and never felt Like I was being pressured or led away from what I was after. In other works, I knew from the start that I could trust you, which made so many issues and questions so much easier to resolve. Going through this process on my own seemed almost impossible not too long ago, but by working with you it became not only possible but a very positive experience. I’ll definitely be referring my friends to you when they’re ready to take the plunge or make a move. And I look forward to having a margarita or two (or three) with you at El Coyote sometime soon. Thanks again for everything. Sincerely, Keith Bacon

Dear Owen, Thank you so much for making my home buying experience so effortless for me. I am impressed that you found for me, a home, that is even more what I was looking for than I expected to find. Thank you for finding it for me and helping me make my new life happen. Sincerely, Ken Ferguson

Dear Owen: I know it’s only taken me forever… and then some, to write this letter but better late than never as the saying goes, and with the service I got from you, it just had to be done. So here I am… first time homebuyer wandering aimlessly through the streets of Los Angeles, and equally wandering through the Classified Ads just not knowing where to begin. I knew the area I wanted to live in, and a friend at work had recommended this realtor so I went with her. As pleasant as she was as a person, her realtor skills needed serious help. Everything seemed like a joke to her, and tried to sell me properties I didn’t really want. I felt pressured into making an offer on a property I really didn’t like. So while keeping her on the side I was on the quest to find another realtor. The only ones I bumped into were rude, or had no interest in helping me. One just said “good luck to you.” Another said “ without the right amount of down payment, you wont’ be able to buy anything.” Then, you came to the rescue. One day on one of my aimless drives, I saw one of your signs outside of a property. Thought nothing of it as I had called about 5 or 6 that day. Much to my surprise, you called me back that very same late afternoon. You apologized that the property had been sold, but you offered up another property, and you made the appointment with me to take a look at it. As frustrating as the day had been, I thought, “wow, he seems to have an interest”. We took a look at the property, and though I liked it, I didn’t love it. There was no pressure from you to make an offer right away, etc., and not only did I meet you that day, but you gave me 3-4 properties to think about. Now I was really impressed! Your knowledge of the entire real estate process was befuddling. You knew absolutely everything about everything, and no question was too dumb for you. Being a first time homebuyer is such a scary experience, but you make me feel calm and at ease…and that’s half the battle! And so the journey began. Over the next month or so, we went from property to property. You knew what I wanted, and at what price & location. Now I know Coldwell Banker. The majority of the business they deal with is in the million dollar + range of homes, estates, etc. You didn’t have to take the time to deal with me. You had million dollar homes you were dealing with, and yet you treated me as if I were buying a 5 million dollar home! You were very patient with me, and dealt with all my stupid questions, and basically held my hand throughout this first time homebuyer’s process. So although I ended up finding my place on my own (a total fluke), you did a thorough investigation of the property to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. This time, I was the one who wanted to make the offer right away, but you told me to be careful because not everything is, as it seems. You made the transaction very smooth, and I am still very happy 7 months later. Basically, this long-winded letter was just to thank you for your professionalism, and courtesy. You could’ve given up on me, and dumped me like a hot potato, but you didn’t. I’ll always remember that. Rest assured, when I am ready to move again, or when any of my friends or relatives are in the market to sell or buy, I will force them to retain your services so they can experience the same kindness, professionalism and knowledge that you possess. Thanks again for a great experience! Sincerely, Saquib Rasheed
