Eric is now focused on representing distinctive luxury, waterfront, condo and second-home properties throughout Southwest Florida, centered on Venice, Englewood and Port Charlotte. R. Eric Axelson was born and raised in Southern New Jersey, part of Greater Philadelphia and close to Princeton University, Wilmington Delaware, and the Jersey Shore. He resided in the Haddonfield, New Jersey area on and off for 30 years, although he has also spent time as a resident of Israel, Philadelphia, Iowa and Los Angeles. He is an avid traveler and loves global language and culture. He has amassed a global network of real estate partners. Eric's professional experience has been centered on leadership, management, and contract negotiation at two financial services companies, including a division of Citigroup. He is more than comfortable working with top-level executives. His professional skills provided an ideal segue into his real estate career, where he has experience representing clients in a broad range of property types, including , architecturally-significant, commercial, condominiums, historic, investment, land, multi-family, new construction and more typical single-family residences. A self-described technology guru, he is very comfortable using all manner of technology to be as responsive as possible to his clients' needs. Eric's interests outside of real estate include architecture, art, design, history, reading and the great outdoors. He enjoys caving (spelunking), hiking and kayaking. Animals and wildlife are an important part of Eric's life. He has previously rescued Saint Bernards.
