Richard Bernstein

Born in the Bronx and raised in Indianapolis, Richard Bernstein strikes the perfect balance of New York City know-how with a Midwestern sensibility.

As a Manhattan resident for 30 years and a successful broker for more than 20, Richard brings a much-needed dose of confidence and calm to every client interaction. He is a passionate people person who believes the business of real estate is about providing peerless customer service, solving problems, and reaching client objectives. Overall, he sees his role as that of a facilitator, not a salesman. "I specialize in building relationships, that's what I do," he says.

A long-time resident of the Upper West Side, Richard is devoted to supporting his community, especially through a wide range of volunteer activities with New York Cares. In his free time, you might find Richard playing tennis, skiing, fishing, or exploring the city with his wife.
