Robert Albertson

Rob has always been equal parts left brained and right brained - logical & passionate, with degrees in Finance and English. This serves him well as a Realtor® since a buying decision is both a practical & an emotional one. He is patient with his clients but proactive with the market - often a financial planner, more often a psychiatrist. While he is all about market statistics, he also loves the intangibles that really make a house a home.

Rob began his real estate career in Austin 12 years ago by investing and building mostly in South Austin's 78704 zip code and earned the distinction as an Austin Energy Green Builder after completing a number of highly rated green homes. Today he is solely focused on helping his clients buy and sell their own slices of Austin but is always happy to hand out a remodeling tip or two along the way.

Though not an Austin native, he arrived in 1999 to join Austin's live music scene. But after 6 bands, 10 albums, and hundreds upon hundreds of shows, he now enjoys spending his time with his wife Catherine, son Eliot, & dog Belle in their green home in South Austin. He still, however, remains an active (albeit, part-time) member of the live music scene and also enjoys playing golf at Lion's, running around Town Lake, and good wine with friends & family.
