About Ryan

Ryan Kaplan is a 15-year veteran of the real estate industry. He presents a formidable and rare form of real estate adviser, having not only extensive experience negotiating the sale, purchase, and leasing of real estate, but expertise spanning the investment, development, underwriting, and construction facets of the business as well. Fortified by institutional-grade training, Ryan has worked both domestically and abroad for some of the world's top real estate developers and fund managers, including Prudential Property Investment Managers, Naftali Group, and Elad Properties. His matriculation into the Manhattan market involved working directly with one of the largest global luxury residential developers—the team behind the condominium conversion of the famed Plaza Hotel, the Grand Madison, O’Neil building, and The Carlyle in Los Angeles. To date, Ryan has been involved in the sale, leasing, development, and financing of over $500 million worth of real estate; spanning residential, commercial, retail, and industrial assets. His cross-functional industry experiences have established him a diverse and extensive network, as well as direct relationships with numerous developers, contractors, and lenders. He and his deals have been featured in the New York Times, New York Post, The Real Deal, and Real Estate Weekly, among other publications. Ryan offers clients an encyclopedic knowledge of Manhattan real estate and neighborhood dynamics, as well as an elevated sensitivity and acumen in real estate investment fundamentals. Ryan is a native New Yorker, and an honors graduate from the Questrom School of Management at Boston University. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, and a triple concentration in Real Estate, Law, and Entrepreneurship. He is a homeowner in Manhattan’s West Village and spends a great deal of time with his family and friends, traveling, enjoying local theater and restaurants, exercising, and creative writing.
