Scott Joffe

Wood, sawdust, blueprints, and construction sites. Scott has been immersed in these basic elements of real estate since he was a kid. Growing up in his family’s millwork manufacturing business on the east coast, Scott developed a unique perspective of home design and quality from the inside-out. After moving to Austin/Westlake in 2005, he decided to use his in-depth knowledge of construction, love of design and a desire to collaborate with great people to launch his real estate career.

Whether buying or selling, building, or remodeling, Scott’s goal is to help his clients get to the next chapter in their life as smoothly and efficiently as possible. He listens intently to his clients to understand their personal situation, their motivations for buying/selling and anything that will be important to them during and after the transaction. While keeping their priorities front and center, Scott successfully navigates through any obstacles or challenges that arise. He is also a creative analytical person who thinks freely, offering solutions that clients (or other agents) may not have considered.

Scott values the relationships he forms with his clients as well as industry professionals. His rapport with other agents creates more opportunities for his clients. This may come in the form of a pocket listing that is the perfect match for a buyer or winning a multiple offer situation because the other agent knows that Scott is a professional who can be relied on for a smooth and successful transaction. Scott intentionally communicates with the other agent to understand the other party’s motivating factors. This allows him to negotiate more skillfully on behalf of his clients.

Outside of work, Scott can be found spending quality time with his family and friends. The Joffes enjoying traveling to California to see their adult children as well as exploring and experiencing Austin with their daughter Susannah, a freshman at UT Austin. Scott is a songwriter at heart and writes songs alongside his daughter. You might even catch the two of them performing around Austin from time to time!

Scott graduated from Emory University with a BBA and has been with Realty Austin since 2007.
