After having served as a Senior Vice President of the largest privately owned real estate firm in the country, Scott understands the importance of local expertise and personal relationships between broker, agent and client. Scott is regularly named among the top in his field for sales and management, and earned numerous industry awards and accolades. In 2002, he was named Top 40 Under 40 from Inside Business, and in 2008, he was elected to lead local real estate professionals as the President of the Richmond Association of Realtors. Scott helped found Shaheen, Ruth, Martin & Fonville Real Estate as the answer to modern real estate. Together they focus on using technology, marketing, and networking to create an unmatched experience for their agents and clients alike. Scott values people, and does everything in his power to help them reach their personal goals.
Having re-entered Real Estate Sales in May 2017, after over 20 years in Real Estate management, Scott has already helped a multitude of sellers and buyers, buy and sell, all over the Richmond Metropolitan area. Scott grew up in Richmond, graduated from St. Christopher’s School & earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Radford University. He has two grown sons, Hamilton & Chandler Shaheen, and lives in the City of Richmond with his wife Paige and their dog, a bichon named Saint.
