Shane Spurling is a REALTOR® with Matt O'Neill Real Estate. He grew up in a small California agricultural town and watched as it transformed into the Silicon Valley before his eyes. Shane is committed, congenial, fun, and loves to see the best qualities brought out in people and things. His love of sales started at the early age of 10, running a cherry stand by the highway. Being the son of a custom home developer and real estate appraiser gave him a deep appreciation for real estate, an eye for value, and a love for seeing people brought together in homes. Over his well-rounded twelve year Real Estate career, Shane has successfully worked in almost all aspects associated with the field; lending, developing, investor coaching, custom construction, multi-family, rentals, home design, "flipping," and selling.
In 2002, Shane married his college sweet-heart, and they are still crazy about each other! He is very proud to be a father of 3 amazing kids (2 boys and a girl), and his greatest hope in life is for them to grow up with a genuine love for God that is seen in how they love and care for other people. As often as possible, Shane finds time for surfing, paddle boarding, watching movies, and hanging out with his friends while having good conversation and a quality beverage.
There are lots of interesting qualities and experiences in Shane's life, but surviving a direct shot to the head by a 30-06 (it's a BIG bullet) from a hunters rifle is probably the most unique. Not only did it change his life, but it is a big part of Shane's story in bringing his family to Charleston. Be sure to ask him about this!
