Quality Agent. We met Shawna based on her reputation as an agent in the Apollo Beach area. She showed us houses we thought we were interested in as well as others based on our desired options. We made an offer on a home and after some negotiation it was accepted. Shawna was able to coordinate all the inspections in the few days we had in the area before returning to our home in another state. All went as planned and entire process was smooth. Too bad I can only giver her 5 stars. I know this may be hard for you all to believe it here is my story. Looked all over Tampa to Bradenton area and couldn’t find anything that wife and I both liked (she wanted brand new house, I wanted a dock :). I called the number on a for sale sign and connected with Shawna. She had an off market house she showed us that checked all of our boxes so we bought it. After that, another house that was bigger with a much better view (also off market) became available and it was our dream house. Quite a bit more but this would be our “Forever Home”. She was able to work the deal for us. I asked her if she would mind if we pulled out of the first deal (and she would lose her commission). She did not hesitate and told us that was fine with her. She wanted what was best for us. Very refreshing! We mentioned that if we could find a good renter, we would consider keeping it. 2 days later she found us THE IDEAL renter. Unbelievable! Now we have two homes in out beloved Mirabay Community and we are ecstatic! Talk about above and beyond service, Shawna wouldn’t even accept a finder fee from us. She did so well, we want to buy more houses with ideal renters. She is the best realtor I have ever worked with by a large margin. I highly recommend her.

Shawna was amazing to work with! She was always very responsive and helpful. She took her time driving us EVERYWHERE and helped us get our dream home. She went to bat for us to get a great deal and was very helpful throughout the entire buying experience. I had a ton of realtors contact me after looking on Zillow, but she stood out when she called. She asked all the right questions and made me feel comfortable with her from day one. The market has been crazy and I know she has a lot of other clients but she never made me feel like that. Her daughter had a baby during my home search and if she couldn’t be there with me (which wasn’t often), she found someone else on her team to meet me at a location or during inspections. I just want to start off by saying that Shawna Calvert was an absolute joy to work with. I was so very lucky to have met Shawna through Zillow when I went to see a home that we were interested in. Shawna was kind and patient with us, first time home buyers. She was attentive to the things we wanted and NEVER cut corners. She took us to view several houses, a couple of which we were interested, however, due to the high demand in the market, and limited funds on our end, we could not get what we wanted at the price point that we wanted. Shawna encouraged us to look into newly built homes. After a bit of research, we decided that this was the best option for us. Shawna attended many meetings with me and read through ALL the paperwork before she gave me the “ok” to sign. Whenever there was an issue with communication with the seller, Shawna would jump on it immediately and ensure that things were happening in a timely manner. Thanks to her, we were even able to get several thousand dollars off our closing costs. On Tuesday 01/02/2021, we closed on our newly built home. After months and months of waiting, it was finally OURS. If I had to do this process all over again, I most definitely would because I know I would be safe in the hands of Shawna. Her team is extremely professional. She connected me with other services that we would need, such as homeowners insurance and helped us find the best rate. I just read a review that absolutely shocks me! Shawna Calvert is the most ethical and trustworthy person I know. She will go the extra mile and give you the shirt off her back. She helps a hoarder move her junk to storage so she can sell her house. She drives her clients to medical appointments. Who does that?
She always shows up at listing appointments and inspections and works tirelessly to get the best price for her clients. Anyone posting anything different must be having a really bad day or be mentally unstable!!!
From what I see all reviews are a 5 star except for a stray cat.... just saying!
People are smart! They can decipher this for themselves.
