Prior to her real estate career, she was a secondary schools and college teacher. Education-wise, she has a masters degree from Indiana University and her magna cum laude undergraduate degree is from the University of Evansville. She met her husband in college, and he is an electrical engineer. They have 2 sons, one living in the Midwest, and one assisting her with real estate.
