Sonia Pleasant

Sonia Pleasant has always had a passion for real estate. She grew up in a family that believed that acquiring multifamily properties was the way to financial freedom. At the age of 27, she purchased her first home, and it was a no-brainer that it would be a duplex. “Let one side pay for the other,” wise words from her grandmother, Dorothy.

Through the years, Sonia’s real estate portfolio blossomed as did her knowledge of the industry. She has held jobs in various capacities from property management to working for a major project (construction) management team to buying and selling both residential/commercial properties.

Sonia has previously worked for the Federal Government as a Federal Agent and held a position of high exposure as a former Spokesperson for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (Federal Government). She is highly skilled in crafting and executing effective communication and marketing strategies, to include mass media, social media and broadcast production. She has a BA in Mass Communications and an MFA in Creative Writing (Author of the teen series, The ATL Girlz)
