Steve Cressman

Steve has been selling real estate full time since 1990. His 32 years’ experience and over five hundred transactions have made him one of the top agents in the area. One on one specialized service and being a resident of Westchester – Playa del Rey since 1965, has helped towards his extensive knowledge and success in this market.

Steve loves the satisfaction of seeing buyers fulfill their dream of owning their first home and of striving for a perfect sale for his sellers. Having owned three of his own homes he understands the gratification of the term” Home Sweet Home.”

Steve grew up in Playa del Rey as a youth and graduated from local St. Bernard high school in 1970. He received his Bachelor of Science from Long Beach State. He worked at the Lucky Market in Westchester for 9 years and upon graduation from college went into sales and marketing for Borden Foods. This is where he refined his sales and marketing skills which led him to his real estate career.

After selling his house by owner in 1989 he decided that this is the career that was fit for him. He has worked for Kent Realtors, Remax and Palm Realty Boutique. Ever so thankful for going to a job he loved to do. Steve was Salesman of the Year for 2020.

Steve has four beautiful children. Casey 35 and Kelsey 33, both UCLA graduates. Cole 28 and Cade 26, graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Diego St. Steve is proud to say he has never missed one of their games or events growing up. Steve enjoyed coaching and being part of AYSO soccer, Westchester Little League softball and hardball and visitation sports teams. His 175 teams Gillis Beach Invitational Volleyball tournament is going on its 50th year. Scheduled for July 23-24, 2022.

So, Steve loves the beach, golf, yoga, movies, gardening, church, and his family. He continues to strive to make Westchester – Playa del Rey a great place to live and raise a family.
