About Tami

Tami has been working as a CPA for over 35 years, serving primarily individuals and small business tax clients. Tami also has extensive knowledge of the local real estate market and has served as a consultant for analyzing income properties. Her husband and she own several rental units and thoroughly enjoy helping people who want to begin investing in real estate and need to understand the tax benefits of investment property. With encouragement from her twin sister, she obtained my real estate license in 2001, her broker’s license in 2003, and she opened my own real estate company in 2004. Tami earned a doctorate in business administration (DBA) in 2019 from California Southern University. In 2014 she earned a Master of Real Estate (MRE) degree. Tami was in the inaugural class in the United States in this new program from Realtor University and was the first person in the state of Idaho to obtain an MRE degree. Tami considers herself to be a lifelong learner and highly values education.

Tami's Family
Tami has been happily married to Tim, a local family physician, for over 35 years. They have three grown children (Melanie, Michael, and Caitlin) plus six grandchildren.

Community Involvement
I am an avid volunteer and spend several hours each month serving my church as the Treasurer of a multi-state region covering Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Western Wyoming. I also serve as the President of Trinity New Hope, Inc., a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church that owns and operates sixteen single-family homes as an affordable housing ministry.

Hobbies/Recreation
Over the years Tami's family has been active in Tae Kwon Do. Tami's husband and she are second-degree black belts. Their son, Michael, is a third-degree black belt and their youngest daughter, Caitlin, is a first-degree black belt. They also love to scuba dive. All their kids are advanced-level divers and travel to warm, tropical locations as often as possible to dive. Tim and Tami are also learning to play golf.
