Kat and I really appreciate everything you have done to help us chose such a wonderful house. We love our house and this has made our transition from Colorado to Nebraska a whole lot easier. We cannot say enough good things about our experience in working with you. You definitely went above and beyond our expectations. Tom Smith has far exceeded our expectations for a Real estate agent. Not only did he listen to our wants and needs but he took the initiative to make suggestions on what we should look for in a home that would add value. Tom didn’t pressure us into the high end of our budget, as a matter of fact, he found the house we were looking for at a price that was under budget! He was very knowledgeable on not only locations best suited for our family but also on the local construction industry. He kept in touch with us throughout the whole ordeal and was very candid and honest. He gave us pointers on how to acclimate not only to Omaha but also our children to the schools. Tom was great to work with when my family and I were purchasing a new house as part of relocating to Omaha. He accommodated our schedule when we were flying in repeatedly to see houses over a period of a couple of months. Was always a strong advocate looking out for us and pointing out things that we might have missed. A keen eye, a great talent for discerning what the right house is, very easygoing and helpful with things beyond just the real estate (for example, he suggested multiple places to take my 8 year old son that were great). I relocated for a job opportunity in Omaha in 2009. Tom Smith came highly recommended as my agent and he lived up to the recommendation. He took the time to understand my family's needs, what type of home, area and living environment that would make the family happy. He also took the time to familiarize us with Omaha, recreational areas (that applied to our interests) and helped us to get to know how to get around the city. Beyond all this Tom went above and beyond when it came to inspections and closing. As a matter of fact when we went to close on our now home, due to a misunderstanding in the closing paperwork we almost did not close that day and would have had to reset a time for both us and the sellers. Tom took the bull by the horns and we drove 2 hours to St. Joseph to meet my wife who drove up from Kansas City, found a notary public and closed on our house deal.. You can't ask for more.. R.
