About William
William was born in Minneapolis, MN and spent the first 30 years of his life moving from home to home, all over the country. “The constant migration I experienced as a kid and into adulthood helped me to develop my understanding of culture and diversity. It was tough at the time, but now I wouldn’t trade it for the world” he tells us. “A change in perspective is worth 80 IQ points” he goes on to say, quoting Allan Kay. “There is so much that can be learned from simply listening to another person’s story and watching the nuances of how their lives differ from your own.”
In addition to understanding more depth in different lifestyles and personalities, he was exposed to a vast quantity of homes and became familiar with advantages and disadvantages of each new floor plan and unique home characteristic. Architecture fascinated him and he found his first jobs in landscaping and construction, supporting him through high school.
After he graduated, he got his first job in hospitality and fell in love with the art of service. “[In Hospitality] I found that there was something magical about caring for people, talking to them about subjective ideas and personal preference, and anticipating what they would enjoy without them telling me directly. It became a way for me to connect deeper to an otherwise common understanding of human interaction.” He tells us.
Moving to Boise with no money in 2014, he started his own business doing architectural photography and discovered that as a real estate agent he could develop more professional relationships and further opportunities to grow his business. So, he obtained his real estate license and joined on the admin side, absorbing how other real estate teams run their businesses. He eventually hung his license in 2021 to start a second business selling real estate for residential and commercial properties. He still shoots photos for properties and has since started an additional business helping sellers renovate their properties to maximize potential profits.
He is motivated, intelligent and always developing his knowledge to help people find their dream home in the Treasure Valley. He has inserted himself into the community around Boise and developed relationships that define a hyper-local focus to his new, adopted hometown. He lives on the bench with his wife and son and is delighted to have roots planted and to call Boise his true home.
