It's so bad. Particularly for very small children not yet able to fully articulate or explain to parents what they suffer during the schoolday. During past episodes where egregious harm to students is indisputable, staff and administration circle the wagons and protect the worst among them. Political signs on lawns in town boast 'Alton Families Support Teachers'. Alton families that support their children know better.

As a new eighth grader at this school I truly think that this is one of the best schools that I’ve ever moved to. The teachers are supportive and actually take their time to help the students who need help. The food is better than I would expect from a school, but maybe that’s just compared to Dover...

This school is truly a hidden gem. The administration is fantastic and responsive and the teachers are wonderful.We are so happy we moved here!

This school has improved so much over the last two years and is doing so well. It was just named 2019 School of Excellence. New principal and staff are doing an amazing job at improving the quality of school all around. The grounds are in great shape, a lot of building construction, improvements too...
