St. Bernadette was a very small grade school with my 8th grade class having seven kids. The academics were good and I feel like we were taught well through our teachers. I had some of my favorite teachers at St. Bernadette, but I do not feel like they readied me for high school. High school was a whole new world for me and it was different from my school experience at St. Bernadette. Although I was not necessarily prepared for high school, I did receive support from my teachers in the year leading up to and after I was in high school.
