My experience at Apopka Middle School was okay. The teachers and staff were iffy on certain days however you could really tell that the culture surrounding the school supported the students and most of the staff genuinely cared about the students.

Was there for three days a few years ago and it was horrible. Teachers are yelling at you CONSTANTLY. Even in the cafeteria there's a woman holding a megaphone telling students to keep quiet and yelling at them if they even dare STAND UP through it.

Was faced with rude office workers ,apparently are bullies them selfs. Children are there to learn ! Not to be terrorized.

I am a parent of daughter that was a sea hawk, now she goes to a private school. I cannot tell you how awful the staff treated her. The attendance lady treated her terribly! The staff members are bullies just like everyone else in the school. This school seems to be a last resort for the misbehaving students who deserve more discipline and structure.
