My kindergartner was promoted into first grade with out knowing how to write numbers 1-10 or the alphabet. I was told they stopped teaching children how to write. They figured they’d just “pick it up” with letter recognition. He was frequently given 20 page packets of homework. I stil cannot figure...

The teachers are pretty good. My son has had a positive experience. I think school leadership is very strong. Principal (Dr. Martin) is very smart and makes good decisions. I recommend this school to anyone in the Apopka area.

Lacking on the professional approach of talking to the parents. When both parents take off there jobs to address their child be hurt at school and their interrogated.

Excellent principal, excellent teachers! More parental involvment would make it even better. Our has daughter has developed a greater thirst for knowledge and we couldn't be happier. Dream Lake rocks!
