The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

Attending Granite Hills High School has changed my life in unthinkable ways. I have pushed myself to take college course as a high school student as well as be more engaged within my school. This has lead me to participate in several clubs, being a leading officer in just about each one.

The best part of my experience was finding a passion in the medical field. I was put in the first level medical class and at first I was so unhappy but I started to love it and now I want to become an OB and taking the next levels of the medical classes. My worst experience was probably being late and having to wait in the tardy line.

I like Granite because there are so many opportunities presented to you- clubs, sports, classes, etc. I feel like there's a lot of choices and variety, which I like. I don't have much to dislike about my school, but one thing is some of the bathrooms are always crowded and sometimes at the end of the day or during lunch, certain bathrooms get closed and you have to walk far to the only open one.

I removed my child from another school due to academics and choices for electives. Very satisfied with what this school has to offer. They may have a low great schools score, but please look at the actual reviews from parents compared to schools with high great schools score and their reviews.

I enjoyed my 4 years at Granite Hills High School. They offered a bunch of AP and honors courses. My teachers were willing to work with me when I needed extra help with topics I didn't understand. The school also offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. Granite Hills also prepared me fo...
