Decent high school. Typical experience. Nothing too special about it and you will get a basic education. One of those "you get out what you put in" situations. You gotta make the most of what it gives you.

Some of the best parts of teays valley is they have a lot to offer through college classes and clubs and evolvement. However I would like to see more focus on schooling/ education instead of sports.

As someone who has been a student at Teays Valley for all four years, I can confirm that it is not as good as people make it out to be. Although it is a pretty big school, our graduating classes keep getting bigger. This is the cause of our overcrowded hallways. On top of that, most spring seasons and warm weather have brought roaches into our school. It is not all negative though, the teachers are absolutely amazing.

This is a terrible school, do not send your children here. The teachers are more a bully than any student is. The administrators are horrible. What my daughter experienced here as far as treatment from teachers is unacceptable.
