Academic standards held by administration is very low. Sadly, academics is not a focus at this school. I gave facilities 3 stars due to constant roof leaks. Music and arts 1 star because there is no music or art class for lower grades. The school is known for retaliation (via harshly disciplining students) if parents speak up about an issue and offer solutions. I gave 1 star for food because the lunches are fast food options. One star for diversity, because it's simply not diverse.

Forest Lake Christian School is Anti Gay among other old outdated christian beliefs. Parents must sign a contract indicating they will agree and teach their children that the Bible prohibits "homosexuality, queer, transexual, etc..." Just read their contract, it's hateful and a real shame that there are kids being taught to be so closed minded to the world. I encourage anyone to get a copy of their "contract" to see what they are doing there.

This school played a big part in saving my life. The teachers there take an active and genuine interest in the lives of their students and set an amazing example of humble leadership. I know that the friends I have made there are some of the best I will ever have.

I have two children that have attended this awesome school for 9 years. The education they have received is not only based on truth but also very challenging. Forest Lake is an very good school that provides excellent instruction in a Christian environment. I graduated from Forest Lake back in the 80's, have had two children graduate from Forest Lake, and one still in attendance.
