Students are not stopped when they bully, teachers are not helpful at all, admiration does not support students dreams outside of school, they don't support extracurriculars, they crush your dreams, no extra help given, make us take difficult classes with no other option we are forced to take class we don't want to.

This is an education-oriented school which means there is an opportunity cost to being the #1 high school in Arizona. That cost is a lack of funding for other activities such as sports and a subpar school culture.

BASIS Peoria is definitely a rigorous school that requires a lot of time and effort to do well in. It definitely isn't for everyone, but if you do manage to stay and succeed it will definitely pay off in the long run. Many of the teachers will do their utmost to make sure that you learn properly, which is great considering how hard the content can be.

My kid has had the worst experience in this school and passed the grade solely by own effort, no thanks to the admin or the teachers. Teachers leaving or being fired every few weeks was super stressful. And this happened year round, not occasionally, not to mention the consistent pestering for donat...

First off, the school has a very high population of Asian students — around 90%. While I don’t have an issue with that, I personally found it difficult to relate to many of my classmates, especially when it came to cultural expectations and strict parenting styles, which often differed greatly from...

Basis Peoria is so emphazied in putting a lot of academic knowledge that some students have no life besides sleep, homework and school. I think that the drastic change from 8th grade to 9th grade is so bad that many! many! students end up leaving school in 9th grade.I remember one of my boys, used t...

I have been at this school since it opened, before it expanded into its new location, and have seen it grow in many negative ways. One such negative growth is the hiring of teachers who work in the subject matter who do not have the knowledge or experience in teaching youths. Despite the tremendous...
