GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There are a lot of problems with Beavercreek High School. Often as the school year goes on the staff tends to care less and less about the well-being of the students. The music program is by far the best thing about the school.

The band in my opinion is the most involved and incredibly large program at the school. The teachers are overall pretty good at what they do. There was 650 juniors in my class alone if that says anything about our population. We're at capacity, and the district is building a new high school soon.

Beavercreek high school has been a great school to spend my high school career. However, it does have its flaws. There is a limited selection of AP classes at BHS as well as zero IB classes. This makes it difficult for many students to challenge themselves in school. If there were changes made to increase the spectrum of course difficulty, I believe it would increase student learning and ability with the addition of student satisfaction.

My daughters are about to graduate from BHS after transferring from a charter school their freshman year. They made the decision to come to BHS because of the art and music programs which have been terrific all four years. It's a large school (500-600 per grade) so it is hard to get to know the teac...

This school system is derelict in actually looking out for students best interests. It is all about the administration and their social status. While some teachers are amazing, the toxic environment of the school system is NOT good for kids. It’s a shame, if the teachers (the good ones…not the old a...

Our 3rd child is now a BHS junior and we have been very happy with the school. There is almost every academic opportunity you could want from clubs, to advanced math, AP, and honors classes. My kids are multiracial and we’ve been happy with the diversity at the school among students and staff. Both...
