My time at Somerset Continuation High School was a good experience and one of my best decisions in my young life. I originally went to Bellflower High School and with the lack of attention and drive in such an oversized highschool I was set up to fail. I went to Somerset for 2 years and I earned the opportunity to graduate 6 months early after completing my credit requirement. I had a great relationship with the majority of the staff there and I received several rewards and scholarships that I would've never been able to get anywhere else.

The teaching style at this school helped me graduate from High School 6 months early. Their use of technology and shortened class days made me want to work harder and improve my life.

I would definitely choose this school again. I started at Santa Monica College with Computer Programming in mind and the work I did at this school on computers helped create the passion I found for Computer Science. The teachers we're very kind and would go out of their way to help me because they could see that I was determined to achieve my goals.
