I have grown up in Blair. I have never really had an issue with the school district but I know that a lot of people have. Some people get upset that the school doesn't do anything when it comes to bullying or they don't like the way that some people teach.

My high school has given my many opportunities both academically, financially and athletically. Dual enrollment through metropolitan community collage has given me a head start into my college education. There is also a strong supportive community of teachers to help me when ever needed. I wish we had more financial help for our fine arts programs.

I used to be bullied a lot but through time and patience, I earned a respect from my peers. I enjoy sharing hallways with them on a consistent basis and many of them have the...

I attended Blair High School and felt totally prepared for college. Even though I have a learning disability, I was able to learn along side my peers and was given an opportunity to get help on homework, take extra time on quizzes and tests, and improve my reading skills with a special education tea...

BHS performs very well academically, is consistently one of the best-ranked schools for athletics in its conference, and has an outstanding fine arts department, with some of the state's largest (and most successful) band and vocal music programs. With a student po...

One of my children has a learning disability and we were very pleased with accommodations made by classroom teacher (particularly in physical science and the English dept.). The resource teacher worked one block out of eight wi...
