I was an honors/AP student and was pretty disappointed to see that those classes were disproportionately white compared to the rest of the school. I think the school culture fails to appeal to more than one racial group at a time and students tend to socially segregate. I feel like that aspect takes away a lot of the great parts away from Kennedy.

Kennedy Highschool contains many great qualities, but it still has a few flaws. This diverse community is full of many people who want to learn. They offer the ability for students to thrive in a way that can save money in the future. Kennedy also could use more assistance from the staff members. I feel as if the teachers are not as dedicated to make their classes succeed. I also believe that a new change in scenery is well needed.

Kennedy was truly a step for me to reach greater heights. As an immigrant i am very grateful for the experiences i had in Kennedy. Most of them are so important i hold onto them till today. The staff in particular helped me come out of my comfort zone and speak out for myself and truly pursue my goals. The experiences that i truly didn't like but i now know they are blessings in disguise is when i did public speaking in some classes. I was afraid of conversing with people since i was afraid that accent would get in the way. Am pretty sure that Kennedy truly has greater heights to achieve.
