GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Boiling Springs High School may be quite a large school with many students, but the faculty and staff members still to their absolute best to make our high school experience as inclusive as possible. For example, my past freshman year, I joined the color guard and marching band. Here I was able to gain a social life and new skills, this is also a great way to make new friends and connections and get into shape.

it was okay, I think they need to do better when giving money to sports and stuff, or gyms to sports like winter guard.

Boiling Springs High School is a great school; the best part for me was the friends I made while participating in organizations like the orchestra and cheerleading. The worst part about my experience at this school was how confusing the layout was when they built the new school and that no one really helped me figure it out. i also had to stand to eat lunch some days because the new cafeteria was too small.

little emphasis placed on the SAT/ACTs, but rather teachers stress end of course exams. bullying is horrendous and there is nothing done about it. favoritism towards students who play sports and all the teachers, faculty, and staff only care about the schools sports. high lack of diversity.

I recently retired from BSHS. I taught for 44 years in SC, the last 17 at BSHS in the English Department. There is no other faculty greater than those who teach at BSHS. They are trained in the most current research based instructional strategies, they are caring, supportive of the administration, k...
