It's a decent school overall. There are good teachers, the architecture is beautiful and organized, and since it's located near Downtown Boise, it's convenient for students to walk around and go to many food places or simply find an ideal spot to hang out.

I really like Boise High due to their open campus at lunch so we can go anywhere we want to eat. I also think that most of the teachers are good but some of them are horrible and I don't want anything to do with them. Those are the two biggest critiques I would give them.

I had an excellent experience with BHS, although getting rid of the Brave mascot is a decision I didn't understand the rationale for, the recent change is indicative of the politically and socially involved nature of the student body. This is the best school around because of the teachers. There is a diverse population, acceptance and tolerance for all lifestyles. Don't listen to the naysayers on this review board. They have personal grievances that could not be resolved any where it seems. Boise High RULES!!

There is so much diversity! I LOVE this school, everyone is welcoming and they really made me feel like i belong.
